Insights® Discovery: what it is, who it helps and when to use it

You may have heard of an Insights® Discovery workshop and wondered “is this something my company could benefit from?”. In this article, we’re going to break down the basics of what Insights is, who it’s for and when it could be most beneficial for you to use. What it is

Insights® Discovery is a psychometric tool based on the work of psychologist Carl Jung. It uses a simple four colour model that helps individuals understand more about themselves, those around them and how they can tap into their strengths within the workplace.

There are four colour energies: fiery red, sunshine yellow, earth green and cool blue. Individuals tend to have a strong preference towards the attributes common to one or two of these colours. Having an awareness of your own – and your colleagues’ – colour preferences can change the game when it comes to negotiations, performance and cohesive teamwork.

Each individual will participate in an online evaluation in advance of the session and receive a comprehensive, personalized Insights Discovery profile explaining their colour preferences, working style and more. The workshop includes an overview of the methodology behind the Insights tool, interactive exercises and facilitated discussions based on workplace scenarios.
